基普塞利迷失儿童冰淇淋剧院兼具户外剧院和孤儿院的双重功能。 该项目以建筑师 Bernardo Buontalenti 为中心，旨在将他作为造型设计师和冰淇淋发明者的角色结合起来。

该项目还通过容纳独自旅行或沿途失去家人的无人陪伴儿童来应对人们持续移民到雅典——尤其是从中亚和西南亚——的情况。 通过探索冰淇淋的行为，结合举止和叙利亚织锦图案的主题，该建筑提出了一种新的举止形式——一种对这些孩子身心的舒适。

The Ice Cream Theatre for the Lost Children of Kypseli has a dual function as both an outdoor theatre and an orphanage. Centred around the architect Bernardo Buontalenti, this project aims to combine his roles as both a mannerist designer and the inventor of ice cream.

The project also reacts to the continued immigration of people into Athens– particularly from Central and Southwestern Asia–by accommodating the unaccompanied children who either travelled alone or lost family along the way. By exploring the behaviour of ice cream, combined with themes of mannerism and Syrian brocade patterns, the building proposes a new form of mannerism– one of physical and mental comfort to these children.
